COVID-19 Safety
We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our reception. The CDC has found that COVID-19 vaccines are highly effective at preventing individuals from contracting COVID-19 and may also prevent virus transmission. Vaccinations are a recognized way to support the safety and health of the community, including attendees and vendors. As such, we are requiring that any attendees and vendors be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In light of this requirement, we be asking those attending for additional information via a form when invitations go out.
Depending on local health metrics, we may also require a negative rapid test at the venue before entering. Rapid tests will be provided and, if necessary, will be required even if you are fully vaccinated.
For purposes of this reception, you are considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after completing the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (e.g., Pfizer or Moderna) or two weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) and having received a booster shot (if eligible). Most children and all teens can get COVID-19 vaccines. Teens ages 12 and older can get a booster shot at least 5 months after completing their primary series of a two-dose regimen or 2 months after a single-dose.
Attendees that are feeling sick will not be permitted in the reception. COVID-19 vaccines are effective and are a critical tool to bring the pandemic under control. Howerver, there could be a small percentage of fully vaccinated people who still get sick. If you feel sick, even if you are experiencing mild symptoms, we ask that you do not attend. If you were exposed to COVID-19 within 10 days of the event, we ask that you stay home unless you've received at least 2 negative tests after day 5.
Face coverings will be required at the service.
